I have been collecting decorative eggs for a few years. It is always fun to bring them out at the start of Lent. These lovely painted Ukranian style eggs came from Berlin.
This is an alabaster egg from Volterra, Italy
This is turquoise chipped from Germany...Wait a minute! Something curious is happening! Shanoah suddenly got very interested in the eggs....
Ros, yes these are wooden. I do have others that are real but one always risks having them break so I like the wooden ones. Tried it once...The whole to get the yoke out was bigger than a dime. No luck.
Our family has been on the move for several years. We lived in Berlin and Ingolstadt, Germany and are now based in Trani, Italy. We have traveled to some great places and want to share our adventures with you. Enjoy!
lovely - are they real eggs or wood ones - what a fun collection
