June 16th. Our anniversary! We went out to dinner at a little, and I mean little, restaurant on the port...five tables! Great food, great company. We had an array of appetizers which included a delicious peach, green bean and octopus salad with a light lemon vinaigrette, fried cuttlefish, fritatta with mint and sundried tomatoes, shrimp with fennel and red peppercorns and a refreshing sweet ricotta with cherries and marmalade. Home made sorbet for dessert!
We were joined by our friends Yuki and Dave Piper. We are so lucky they are in Trani with us!

The beautiful bouquet of flowers they presented to us. I think they are roses and peonies.
Back on the home front. Happy for 26 years, full from a great meal and exhausted because midnight is kind of late for us!
