Skiing in Austria

As Rick says, there is a reason we didn't take the girls skiing when they were young...They would probably like it and it would cost us a fortune....He was right! They are already talking about their next downhill run possibly in the Spring. Help!

We were in the Amade region. We mostly skied in Flachau but had access to numerous areas. It was a great experience.

Olivia and Eileen getting ready to start from the top. It was about -13c (8f) at the bottom of the chair lifts which were mid mountain. We would take a gondola to the mid point and then chairlift from there. The snow was better at the top of the mountain...natural vs. machine made at the bottom.
